DTC Product Page Copy · 10 Brands a Month
Your ads get rewritten every week. But your product page doesn't get that kind of love, does it?
We rewrite one product page at a time. $997. If the new page doesn't beat the one you're running now, we keep working on it.
Six questions, four minutes. If you're a fit, we'll audit your page and send you a video within 48 biz hours – free, no call required.
Your product page is the only asset in your business that gets treated as "finished."
Everything else has a catalyst forcing improvement.
| Asset | Why it gets attention |
|---|---|
| Ad account | Numbers move daily |
| A send calendar forces it | |
| Site design | It starts to look dated and it's visible |
| Product page | Nothing. It was written once. |
And that product page was usually written by you… in an afternoon… before you fully knew who was buying.
Then without thinking, it became the go-to page that every dollar of tested, optimized, expensive traffic has to survive.
But the loss rarely shows up as an event. It's just a ceiling you can't seem to shatter.
You've Already Done the CRO Part
Most brands at your stage have:
All of those things are absolutely correct and worth doing. But none of them touch a single word.
Mechanics decide whether someone can buy.
But it's the copy that decides whether they want to.
Most pages have the first one optimized to completion and the second one untouched since launch.
Most product page audits check one thing.
But there are technically two.
| What it checks | How it fails | |
|---|---|---|
| Track A Conversion mechanics |
Whether the page is built to move someone through a decision. Awareness level vs. your actual traffic. Benefit hierarchy. Objection handling. Where proof sits relative to the claims it supports. | Dramatically (usually). Missing CTAs, buried price, inverted hierarchy. |
| Track B Voice integrity |
Whether the page sounds like your brand or like a product description any competitor could put their logo on. | Subtly. Nothing looks broken, but everything reads generic. |
These are actually independent problems. A page can be mechanically flawless and void of any personality. A page can also have real voice on broken architecture. Fixing one does nothing for the other, which is why most audits (i.e. Track A) leave the more expensive problem in place.
You can run the Track B test right now: cover your logo, drop a competitor's name into your headline, and see if anything breaks.
On most pages, nothing breaks. That's the tell.
What You Get with the PDP Rewrite
The audit — Your current page against a proprietary rubric (both tracks) with every finding sorted by what it's costing you and in what order to fix it.
Voice-of-customer (VOC) research — We go find how your customers actually talk about the problem your product solves. Especially those 3- and 4-star reviews, where people say what they really think. In our experience, the language that converts is usually language a customer already used.
The rewrite — The full page, section by section, in your voice. Actual copy, ready to implement (not a document of half-assed suggestions).
A testing roadmap — Three to five tests worth running after the rewrite goes live, in sequence, with what each is trying to learn.
Implementation support — Your developer will have questions and we'll help answer them.
$997 per page. Turnaround time is 1 business week from launch.
Apply for a SpotThe Guarantee
If the new page doesn't beat your current one, we keep working on it.
We'll agree on the metric and the window up front. Your current page is the control.
Add-to-cart rate is the metric. We'll track purchase conversion and report it — but that's affected by your shipping, checkout, cart, and pricing, none of which we're actually touching. Add-to-cart isolates what we're actually responsible for: whether the page made someone want the product.
You need enough traffic to read a result. If we can't tell whether the new page won, we can't guarantee that it did. That's what the application is checking. (Typically, a minimum of 1,500 sessions/mo is recommended).
I'd rather guarantee something specific and honest than something impressive and vague.
Limited Availability: 10 per month
The cap isn't a marketing device.
Doing this properly means reading your reviews — actually reading them — finding where your customers talk when they're not on your site, and writing in a voice that isn't ours. That takes what it takes, and the number of times our small and nimble team can do it in a month is a fixed number.
More than 10, and the 11th one would be the version where we skipped the research and pattern-matched from the last brand in your category.
You've hired someone who does that before. That's why you're on this page. Let's not repeat that mistake.
Who this is for:
This is for you if
You have a product page carrying real revenue – a hero SKU, not a long tail
You have enough traffic on it to tell whether a change worked
You have analytics you trust (ideally testing capability)
You've been disappointed by an agency or freelancer once, and concluded the problem was fit, not effort
You'd rather have one page done properly than five done adequately
This isn't for you if
Your page traffic is low enough that a real result wouldn't be readable
You need copy this week – the research is most of the work and won't compress
You're comparing four writers and want a sample page (ain't happenin', bud)
You want the whole site. This is one page, done properly.
You've decided the problem is design. It might be – fix that first and then come back.
Where we're strongest: supplements and wellness, outdoor and adventure, men's apparel. Those are the categories we know deepest — what you can't claim, what your customer has already been burned by, what "good" sounds like to them.
But that's a preference, not a gate. The method works on any physical product page. Apply and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit for your category.
Questions
A CRO audit tells you the mechanics are wrong and hands you a list. This diagnoses mechanics and voice as separate problems, then writes the page.
No, siree. Not in anything that reaches your customer. Honestly, your best customers can tell, and trends say they're the ones who mind.
Great! Send it, and we'll write against it. If it's drifted from your actual baseline, let's fix it.
Then it isn't finished. We have a two-revision-round standard because historically, anything more than two revisions is bad news bears. But we want you to like it, so we'll get that ish right, pal.
Six Questions
The application is short and genuinely diagnostic. They're the questions our founder would ask you on a call anyway.
If you're a fit: we'll audit your page and send you a video with what we found and what we'd prioritize. All within 48 business hours.
FREE. No call required. And useful whether or not you hire us.
If you're not a fit: we'll tell you why and point you toward the next best step.
